Schoeman has performed various activities for us. Firstly, finding and hiring a new location where we wanted to establish our 2 companies in 1 location, and later they assisted us well in renegotiating the expiring lease contracts.
The result of the service was in the first place an excellent location for the continuation of our activities and in 2nd and 3rd place better conditions and more favorable conditions of the existing lease.
We chose Schoeman because we received a recommendation from our network at the time and we will absolutely recommend them ourselves as well! In recent years, Marnix Schoeman has proven to be a reliable partner in the search, finding and contracting of real estate for our organization. In 2012, Pipoos was taken over by the Swedish family company Panduro. The strongly outdated store concept had to be revived. The 33 stores in particular were in dire need of a makeover.
Before starting, Pipoos / Panduro called in Schoeman consultants to monitor all contracts and locations together with the Managing Director in the Netherlands. This led to:
- 2 new store locations in cities where Pipoos was not yet active;
- 8 new locations in cities where Pipoos was active (moved to another building);
- 5 store closures in poor shopping areas;
- 18 renegotiations that led to an extension at the existing location.
As Managing Director I have worked very closely with Marnix Schoeman for more than 6 years. Marnix and his organization in Amsterdam are very skilled with a large network. Marnix knows how to realize the best for his client in a calm way, without jeopardizing the relationship between client and landlord. In addition, Marnix and his brother Hugo are 2 first-class guys with a fantastic company. They are nice and driven. I have worked with them with great pleasure.

When we were looking for a new location for our company in 2013, one of our members tipped us Schoeman consultants. Our first lease contract was finished and our company was about to expand. Hugo helped us to find suitable premises through our Program of Requirements. In addition, he negotiated for us with the landlord, so that we received a suitable rental price with the best conditions. We, as young entrepreneurs, would never have achieved what Schoeman consultants achieved.
Now, 5 years later, our contract is ending again. Again we are assisted by Schoeman consultants, this time by René. We asked Hugo for help with finding a property in the Breda area. We were looking for a relatively large hall with a smaller office, where our services were central. With these parameters, Hugo was able to compile a list of properties, which greatly accelerated our choice process.
